The Koghan system is a system of transmitting and storing life Energy. These energy currents are generated in specific pathways through the body with proper alignment, movement, and breath. This powerful life force energy enlivens the body and calms the mind. This system can be adapted to all bodies and the benefits can be experienced almost instantly. ________________________ The Kogan Yoga center will be extremely Eco friendly but is currently under construction with the goal of being open early in the new year. At this time all group classes, over 2 persons, are weather dependent and will be done on the beautiful white sandy beaches near Manzanillo. Small private classes, no more than 2, can be done when it is raining at the center. _______________________ Props - We will be using 7’ and 4’ bamboo staffs called Dhandas and 14’ ropes called Longi. These props help us to activate the muscles along the back of the spine to generate the energy through the body into the hands, feet, and into the brain. They help us to train the body alignment with the breath to generate the energy currents through specific postures and prepare us for a deeper meditation.
